Operating Room Nurse

Position Overview This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered perioperative nursing care in a dynamic surgical environment. You will evaluate patients prior to surgery, educate families, and ensure patient safety through preoperative preparations and adherence to protocols. Key Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments, participate in surgical site verification, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Apply evidence-based practices, document patient conditions, and educate patients and families about treatments and follow-up care. Qualifications Active RN license, Associate or Bachelor’s Degree, and circulating experience in the OR are required. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
