Job Description
The Lead Electrician will oversee electrical installations and troubleshooting for commercial projects, leading a small team of 1-5 electricians. This role requires ensuring safety compliance and accurate blueprint reading while managing multiple job sites and maintaining regular daytime work hours with frequent travel between sites.
Responsibilities
- Install electrical systems according to project specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly
- Supervise and guide a small team (1-5) of electricians
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
- Interpret and work from blueprints and technical diagrams
- Coordinate travel and logistics across multiple commercial sites
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical work, at least one year as a lead
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in electrical wiring and system installation
- Strong knowledge of safety standards compliance
- Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems
- Demonstrated team leadership capabilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
