Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.**WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:*** Lead and advance EHS strategy by providing clear, consistent direction that supports both people and business outcomes.* Be a visible safety leader with a strong shop floor presence—recognized as the go to expert for safety, health, and environmental mentorship.* Collaborate closely with the Plant Manager and leadership team to align EHS initiatives with site priorities and long term objectives.* Proactively identify workplace hazards and collaborate with plant teams to eliminate or mitigate risk.* Champion a ZERO HARM culture, driving safe behaviors and practices across all levels of the organization.* Monitor and interpret EHS regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA), assess potential impacts, and translate requirements into practical, effective solutions.* Own environmental programs related to waste, water, and energy, supporting both regulatory compliance and sustainability initiatives.* Engage employees at all levels to identify, develop, and implement continuous EHS improvements.* Manage EHS documentation, permits, and vendor relationships, ensuring accuracy and compliance.* Coordinate workers’ compensation cases, partnering with HR and Legal to drive appropriate outcomes.* Lead incident reporting and investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action follow up.* Facilitate EHS training programs, ensuring all regulatory and company requirements are met and well understood.**YOU HAVE:*** Background in Engineering, Science, Safety, or Environmental disciplines preferred* Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification preferred* Ideally 5+ years of progressive experience leading safety and/or environmental management systems* Experience working in a manufacturing environment* Strong working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, with the ability to apply them effectively in a plant setting**WE HAVE:*** A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day + nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
