Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Specialist in Tacoma, Washington. This role involves providing specialized care and performing diagnostic and interventional procedures within a pediatric cardiac cath lab setting. The position requires a skilled healthcare professional experienced in pediatric cath lab procedures to support a high-level trauma center's cardiac program.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 0700-1730; 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Two or more years of experience, prior pediatric cath lab experience, active Washington state or compact license, certifications including BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Experience with pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional cases such as LHC/RHC, PDA/VSD/ASD closures, septostomy, congenital structure stenting/ballooning, collateral closure, as well as pediatric electrophysiology procedures including pacemaker implantation, generator exchanges, loop recorder implant/removals, and electrophysiology studies with radiofrequency ablations for SVT, WPW, atrial tachycardia, and PVCs
• Skills required: Experience with case monitoring as circulator, patient monitoring during sedation (sedation provided by anesthesia), monitoring experience preferred; familiarity with PACS: Picom, Hemodynamic: Merge, C-arm: Siemens Artis, and EMR: EPIC Cupid (preferred)
• Float: No, floating rotation is not required
• On call: Seven call shifts in a two-week pay period, including weekends (about 1-2 weekends per month), with response time of 45 minutes; call hours include weekday shifts from EOS to 0700 next day, and weekend from EOS Friday to 0700 Monday; no sleep room available
• Holiday expectations: Call only, included in department call rotation
• Scrub color: Provided by hospital; lead scrubs available with extended sizing options
