Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Location: Neptune, NJ
Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks (With High Possibility of Extension or Permanent Placement)
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts Per Week | 36 Hours Weekly
Pay Rate:
Local: $2,000 - $2,100/Week
Travel: $2,400 - $2,500/Week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse – Emergency Department for an exciting Contract opportunity in Neptune, NJ.
Responsibilities
Perform rapid patient assessments and triage according to acuity and clinical priority.
Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages.
Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
Respond effectively to trauma, medical emergencies, and critical care situations.
Monitor patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare personnel.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Provide patient-centered care while adhering to evidence-based nursing practices.
Participate in emergency response and stabilization efforts.
Required Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required.
Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact RN License required.
BLS (American Heart Association) Certification required.
ACLS Certification required.
PALS Certification required.
Telemetry Certification required.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification required.
CEU Contact Stroke Certification (4 Hours) required.
Minimum 18 months of nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting required.
Recent Emergency Department experience within the past 6 months required.
Demonstrated clinical competency and performance in emergency nursing.
Experience developing and implementing nursing care plans.
Strong emergency medicine knowledge and patient assessment skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
