The primary responsibilities would be meeting him when he gets off the school bus, making sure he gets settled in safely, and helping him with his homework—especially **Algebra**. He may also need some encouragement and guidance with staying focused and keeping up with his schoolwork. My son has recently come into my care after a difficult home situation, so he is going through a period of adjustment and has some catching up to do academically and emotionally. He does best with someone who is patient, understanding, calm, and willing to build trust with him rather than simply supervise him.
