Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including in-depth physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through a careful assessment of imaging studies and laboratory findings
• Collaborate vigorously with surgical teams to develop tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience with surgical rotations strongly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
