Job Summary .

Our client is seeking a Temp Material Handler III to support warehouse and manufacturing operations by receiving, organizing, and moving materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and processing material-related paperwork. The role also involves operating a forklift to load and unload trucks, fulfilling work orders, and assisting with shipping activities as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Description

• Pick and pull materials from stock using computerized manufacturing work orders and pick lists
• Receive components and items using the JDE system
• Perform cycle counting
• Print and pull warehouse shop orders and customer orders
• Attend daily assembly Gemba meetings
• Consolidate warehouse materials and remove excess or obsolete materials
• Put away all inbound materials
• Maintain accurate inventory records for all raw materials
• Process all required paperwork pertaining to materials
• Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and move materials
• May be cross-trained in shipping to assist shipping personnel as needed
• Perform other duties as necessary

Skills Required

• Proficiency in mathematics and the use of drawings, specifications, charts, tables, and
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Microsoft Excel experience preferred
• Blueprint reading preferred
• Familiarity with JDE
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent attendance and a solid performance record
• Good reading skills and basic math skills

Education/Training/Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Additional Requirements

• Ability to support and work in a team environment
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. frequently and stand and walk most of the day

Pay Rate/Salary

• $23.00/hr. Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location
