REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• Obstetrics Required Procedures: Low Risk Pregnancy, High Risk Pregnancy, FHR Interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasounds (Performance and Interpretation, Level I/Screening, Level II/Targeted).
• Labor and Delivery Required Procedures: Routine Vaginal Delivery, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section, Complicated Delivery (C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions), VBACs, Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations.
• Gynecology Required Procedures: Operative/Major (Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOA), Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor (Tubal Ligation, LOA, Chromal Tubation), Surgical Gynecology (Open), Office/Minor Gynecology (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, Cryosurgery, LEEP).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Certified in OB/GYN
• Licenses: Active Ohio Medical License
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Other Qualifications: Self-Query NPDB within 30 days of presentation required

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN hospitalist coverage for labor and delivery unit
• Manage low and high-risk pregnancies, including performing vaginal deliveries and C-sections
• Collaborate with OB residents and midwives in a teaching environment
• Perform gynecological procedures as required, including operative and minor procedures
• Ensure timely documentation using EPIC EMR and maintain compliance with hospital protocols
