Overview We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to join a collaborative rehabilitation team in Mitchellville, Maryland . Why Join This Team? $29.55–$31.49/hour 40 hours per week Supportive and collaborative rehabilitation environment Hands-on patient care with meaningful clinical impact Opportunities to develop your skills and grow professionally New graduates and experienced PTAs are encouraged to apply Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will: Implement individualized treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities based on patient goals Assist patients with gait, mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional training Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate relevant changes to the supervising PT Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, safety, and continued progress Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with PTs and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Maryland Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative clinical team New graduates are welcome to apply and will receive compensation based on their qualifications and experience Mitchellville offers a convenient Maryland location with easy access to the greater Washington, D.C., and Baltimore areas.
