Digital Graphic Designer

Job Summary

This position will work directly with the Digital Design Team, and other members of the DCX team, to create and produce a variety of digital design assets, assuring that in addition to budgets and delivery dates, corporate and professional quality standards are followed. The primary focus of the role will be in developing branded digital design content for eComm, Social, Online, and collateral materials.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

.Transactional (60%)

• Design and execute a variety of digital graphic designs including, but not limited to:
• Direct .com product pages, website banners, responsive promotional pages
• Marketing content (product and landing pages, banners, ads) for retailer websites
• Digital ads, POP (point of purchase), online banner graphics and Merchandising materials
• On-trend social media content (paid media campaigns and organic)
• Digital marketing campaign graphics

• Create world-class optimized content for direct and retailer websites.
• Work within various content management systems to aid in the uploading of content to retailer websites.

Analytical (30%)

• Collaborate with the other departments like IT, eCommerce, Marketing, Sales, Multimedia & Video, HR and Legal etc. to generate sales and marketing materials for customer presentations.
• Achieve service excellence, meet and exceed organizational objectives.

Support (10%)

• Take on additional responsibilities for larger design projects/campaigns
• Provide direction and support to other members of the DCX team.
• Help organize and maintain digital image library and artwork files in our system.
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for site design and user experience.

Education and Experience Profile

• Associates or Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Graphic Design and/or Multimedia.
• 3-5 years relevant experience graphic and web/digital design.
• Experience working in groups.
• Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Applications.
• CMS knowledge.

Required Skills

• Excellent graphic and interactive skills with attention to detail.
• Exceptional talent and working experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver.
• Mid to high level expertise in developing relevant/on-trend social media content.
• Strong presentation development skills in layout and typography.
• Fluency in type, information design, and web design trends.
• Ability to thrive under challenging deadlines.
• Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills.
• Understanding and working knowledge of photography and video and how to apply those to the web.
• Strong ability to work both independently and cooperatively.
• Self-motivated to stay informed and up to date on current/future digital trends.

Work Environment

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Hybrid role - M/F from home. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday on site. Will be issued a MAC computer (not PC).
