Occupational Therapist

Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide school-based services in an elementary school in the Abington, PA area. This opportunity is for maternity coverage beginning in February through the end of the 2026–2027 school year. This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys working with elementary-aged students and wants to make a meaningful impact within a supportive school environment. There may also be an opportunity to return for the following school year or transition into another full-time or part-time opportunity with Kelly Pediatric Therapy for those interested! Responsibilities -Provide individual and/or group occupational therapy services aligned with students’ educational needs and IEP goals -Screen and evaluate students using appropriate assessment tools and procedures -Develop and implement individualized therapy interventions based on student needs -Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation -Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings -Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support carryover of skills across the classroom and school environment -Provide consultation and support to educators and families regarding student needs and appropriate strategies -Make recommendations regarding adaptive equipment, materials, and environmental modifications when appropriate -Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with state and federal requirements and school policies -Collaborate with other professionals to support students’ participation, independence, and success in the educational environment -Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practices in school-based occupational therapy -Follow applicable federal and state regulations, professional standards, and school policies -Perform additional responsibilities as needed based on student and district needs -Competitive compensation with reimbursement for documentation, meeting attendance, and report writing -Consistent mentorship and clinical support from experienced Clinical Directors and Team Leaders -School-Based Academy with resources and support for therapists who are newer to the school setting -Lending Library with access to evaluation tools and assessment materials -Access to the Kelly Pediatric Therapy Team website for resources, programming ideas, caseload support, and professional collaboration -Connection with other Kelly Pediatric Therapy therapists through our online community -Robust Referral Bonus Program -Supportive, collaborative, and engaging team environment -Potential for continued employment through additional assignments based on interest and availability About Kelly Pediatric Therapy Backed by the strength of Kelly, Kelly Pediatric Therapy is a nationwide provider of pediatric therapy and related services dedicated to delivering high-quality, education-based services and supporting the clinicians who provide them.
