Registered Nurse - Dialysis

$2312.00/week - Job Summary: Provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis treatments in a hospital setting. Manages treatments in various environments including inpatient, outpatient, and home care, ensuring safety and optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities: Supervise and administer peritoneal dialysis treatments to adult patients in hospital and home settings. Evaluate patient conditions and adjust care plans accordingly using the nursing process. Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, care techniques, and health maintenance. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, assessments, and patient responses. Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and improve clinical workflows. Demonstrate technical proficiency in dialysis procedures and maintain compliance with safety standards. Qualifications: Valid RN license with current certification. Minimum of 1 year experience in dialysis nursing or related area. Demonstrate strong technical skills in dialysis treatment delivery. Possess current BLS certification. Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Flexibility to participate in required on-call duties.
