Job Opportunity – OB/GYN Physician – Colorado

Start Date: January 2027 – April 2027

Location: Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Weeknight call coverage Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM; weekend call coverage Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM. Coverage needs include 3 full weeks and 3 weekends per month.

Highlights:

• Offsite night call coverage supporting a Level III Trauma Center with NICU
• 12-bed Labor and Delivery unit with approximately 60 deliveries per month
• Fully staffed facility with dedicated Labor and Delivery RNs and an Obstetric Emergency Department
• In-house anesthesia support available
• EPIC EMR system with required virtual training provided on Tuesdays or Fridays
• Primary call coverage for obstetric and gynecologic patients including antepartum admissions, labor and delivery management, emergency gynecologic surgeries, and ED consults

Requirements:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN
• Completion of OB/GYN Residency
• Active Colorado medical license or active IMLC with letter of qualification in hand
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications highly preferred
• Active DEA certification highly preferred and required for credentialing
• Proficiency in required obstetric procedures including low and high-risk pregnancies, FHR interpretation, routine and complicated deliveries, VBAC, and repair of third and fourth degree lacerations
• Proficiency in gynecologic surgery including ectopic pregnancy management, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive lysis of adhesions, and management of cesarean complications including hysterectomy
• Clean malpractice and background history with current NPDB self-query
• Availability to commit to full scheduled blocks; early departure not permitted
• Completion of mandatory EPIC training prior to start date
