General Manager in Training (Relocation Required)

About the Company and the Opportunity DriveTime Family of Brands is the largest privately‑owned used‑car sales, financing and servicing company. The Company operates frontline dealerships and reconditioning centers across the United States, and offers a management training program that prepares you to lead a dealership as a General Manager within 9‑12 months. Key Responsibilities Provide guidance and strategic planning to achieve sales volume and profit objectives across all sales channels. Implement and execute company‑wide marketing initiatives to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals. Train and develop employees to advance their careers within the organization. Identify potential referral source prospects, create strategies to develop relationships, and maintain positive relationships. Conduct sales meetings to motivate staff and share effective selling techniques. Develop and enhance customer relationships by establishing, promoting, and maintaining excellent customer service throughout sales operations. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred). Minimum 5 years of management experience, preferably as a General Manager, Retail Manager, or Multi‑Unit Manager. Ability and willingness to relocate out of state after certification as a GM (post‑training). Strong leadership, communication, critical‑thinking, and detail‑orientation skills. Compensation and Relocation Salary: $70,000 per year during the training period. Relocation assistance provided for out‑of‑state relocation.
