Shift: 2nd shift 2:00pm-10:00pm or 3rd shift 10:00pm-6:00am every other weekend Benefits Competitive salary starting $2,500 Sign on Bonus paid at $500 every 3 months until paid in full Pickup Bonus Perfect Attendance Bonus $3.00 an hour Medical, Dental & Vision plans Vacation plan Paid Time Off 401K retirement plan Same day pay Positive work environment Regular staff appreciation and recognition Job Description Be responsible for the care and well being of the residents in your charge, and direct train, and mentor the CNA’s on your team Assess the residents’ needs and assist in developing and following individual care plans Assure quality care is delivered through the utilization of nursing processes and guidelines Identify and communicate changes in residents’ status to physicians, staff, and family members Administer medications, treatments, and other direct care as prescribed and indicated Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents Communicate appropriate information to all staff in order to provide a smooth shift transition Investigate and document incidents and accidents as required Report any suspected abuse to appropriate authority Document appropriately as needed or required in PCC Push/pull 30 pounds of force required to move medication carts and to transport residents in wheelchairs Qualification Valid RN license or LPN license for State of Iowa CPR certification Demonstrates leadership and compassion Pillar of Cedar Valley is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
