As a Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team, providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population. You will work in a 38-bed unit, managing a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6, with the ability to handle high turnover on day shifts. Your expertise in EPIC documentation and bedside shift reporting will ensure seamless transitions and high-quality care.

• Administer medications and titrate drips such as Heparin, Bumex, and Lasix
• Collaborate with a 24/7 cardiac tech team for telemetry needs
• Provide care for patients with a variety of diagnoses, including pneumonia, UTI, dehydration, and surgical recovery
• Engage in proactive patient rounding and bedside shift reports
• Float to IMCU for Med Surg assignments as needed
• Adhere to the dress code of navy blue scrubs

Requirements:

• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Need 1 year experience in setting
• Experience with EPIC documentation
• Ability to work 3x12 hour day shifts
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on patient-centered care
