Travel Physical Therapist - $1,938 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in New Orleans, Louisiana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Responsibilities Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the respective setting, following institutional guidelines Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations and comply within the state Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care Understand adaptive equipment Evaluate and create a plan of care Modify plan of care as needed based on patient condition Use Medical Center computer systems in the performance of daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Requirements Must have at least 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged) BLS certification and state‑specific licensing required Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty Must meet or exceed state PT board requirements Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
