Staff Accountant

Prepare and record journal entries and supporting analysis. Conduct regular analysis of financial records to identify and resolve any discrepancies or variances. Support the monthly close process and drive to meet scheduled deadlines. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and internal controls. Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and provide financial data for audits or other financial assessments. Assist in the development and implementation of financial systems and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency. Review and/or develop processes and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Three – five years of experience as a GL Accountant or in a similar role Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well independently and as part of a team High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and supporting the monthly close process.
