The LVN Nursing Lead supports the Nursing Supervisor in overseeing daily nursing operations and ensuring quality patient care within the clinic. This role assists with supervising nursing staff, maintaining patient flow, supporting staff training and scheduling, managing clinical supplies and equipment, and ensuring compliance with infection control and clinic protocols. The LVN Nursing Lead also provides direct patient care support, participates in quality improvement activities, assists with onboarding and orientation of staff, and serves in the Nursing Supervisor role during absences.

Qualifications:

• Valid California LVN License required
• Current CPR certification required
• One year of acute care experience preferred
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Knowledge of outpatient clinic procedures, PCMH, and EHR systems preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push up to 100 pounds (on wheels)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform bending, kneeling, reaching, and twisting motions
• Exposure to Aerosol Transmitted Diseases (ATD) and Blood Borne Pathogens (BBP) may occur in the workplace
