In this role, you'll work approximately 20-25 hours a week, typically over 2 to 2.5 days. Your primary duties will include providing medication consultations, educating on potential drug interactions, and administering preventive healthcare measures like immunizations. You'll supervise the compounding and dispensing of medications, adhering to all regulatory standards. Retail pharmacy experience is preferred, though not mandatory. $62 - $70 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized medication consultations to ensure patients understand their prescriptions and potential interactions.
• Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures, including immunizations, to promote community wellness.
• Supervise the compounding and dispensing of medications, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and improve health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist in managing inventory to ensure the availability of essential medications and supplies.
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for patients and team members alike, embodying our 'Family Taking Care of Family' philosophy.

Qualifications:

• The candidate must hold an active pharmacy license in the state of practice, with all licenses held in good standing.
• Bachelor's or PharmD in Pharmacy
• Certification as an Immunizer is necessary for this role.
• While 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement.
