Description Promises Behavioral Health is seeking a Full-Time Facilities Maintenance Specialist! Schedule Thursday thru Monday 10am to 6pm About Our Organization This position supports one of the trusted behavioral health programs within the Advanced Recovery Systems family. Advanced Recovery Systems is the parent organization of Promises Behavioral Health, The Right Step, and The Ranch, bringing together established treatment brands with a shared commitment to expanding access to high-quality, evidence-based addiction and mental health care. While you may work primarily with a specific facility or brand, you will be part of a larger, growing organization focused on improving patient outcomes, supporting our employees and strengthening the communities we serve. At the Washburn House addiction treatment center in Worcester, Massachusetts, we strive to provide a higher level of care. Through a close knit community of staff, residents, and family, we can build a brand new life for our clients. Position Summary The Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining the facility for clients as well as staff. Also assists with maintaining a preventative maintenance program and resolves immediate operational safety concerns. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducts daily maintenance and repairs and inspects facility to assure everything is in the best working condition and cosmetically appropriate.
- Maintains all local and state required inspections for the facility.
- Assists maintenance personnel at Wimberley and Promises Austin locations as needed.
- Obtains competitive bids for products and services from outside vendors and submits to the Facilities Operations Manager.
- Reviews and recommends ways to maintain or reduce maintenance purchases.
- Manages preventative maintenance plan.
- Maintains a system for after-hours and weekend emergencies by establishing and participating in a rotating on-call system to ensure facility needs are met in a timely manner.
- May direct and supervise the activities of other maintenance personnel.
- May oversee and lead construction projects at residential building, systems, equipment.
- Maintains the facilities vehicles.
- Follows Fire, Environmental and HAZMAT safety codes and regulations for building, systems and equipment.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years' work experience maintain and/or installing HVAC, plumbing carpentry and electrical.
- Valid state driver's license.
