Research Informatics Operations Coordinator This position supports and coordinates aspects of the Research Informatics & Data Science program. Responsibilities include coordinating grant and project intake, maintaining accurate records, scheduling meetings, capturing meeting minutes, triaging requests, assisting with office hours assignments, supporting regulatory review processes, and providing end‑user support for self‑service tools. Additional Information Department: Research Informatics and Data Science Employment: Full time, 40 hours per week Shift: Days, weekdays (Hybrid) Responsibilities Utilize, allocate, and manage resources to meet department, project, and program needs. Act as a liaison and first point of contact with internal and external stakeholders. Organize and establish meetings to foster positive relationships and gather continuous feedback. Provide administrative support by planning, directing, and coordinating daily operational activities. Use a variety of technologies, including databases and spreadsheets, to track and monitor outcomes, financials, data, and other information. Compile data and prepare reports and presentations, and participate in communicating program status and progress. Assist in developing short and long‑term plans and strategies, monitor progress, ensure adherence, and evaluate performance. Assist in designing performance objectives, implementing and monitoring programs to meet desired outcomes. Assist in developing and facilitating training and identifying relevant updates. Assist in developing outreach plans according to program needs and capacity. Guidelines Guidelines are numerous, well established, and directly applicable to the work assignment. The work assignment and desired results are explained by general oral or written instructions. Complexity Assigned duties are generally repetitive and restricted in scope but may be of substantial intricacy. The employee primarily applies standardized practices. Decision Making Decisions or recommendations on non‑standardized situations are limited to relating organizational policies to specific cases. Non‑routine issues are brought to the supervisor. Communications Contacts with the public or employees where explanatory or interpretive information is exchanged, gathered, or presented require discretion and judgment within the parameters of the job function. Supervision Received Work is performed under normal supervision in a standardized environment without close supervision or detailed instruction. Work product is subject to continual review. Minimum Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Two years of experience coordinating and supporting programs. Prefer experience in clinical research, research informatics, research regulations, research regulatory documentation, or use of electronic health record self‑service reporting tools. Equivalency: An associate or higher degree in a related field may substitute for the experience requirements on a year‑for‑year basis. Salary Information Hourly range: $24.48 to $36.72, dependent on relevant experience.
