Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years of Medical Surgical experience required License: Michigan RN License verification is required Certifications: BLS (AHA) required Must-Have: - Straight Medical Surgical experience (not float, SDU/TELE) - Level II or I Trauma experience Description: This position involves working a challenging, fast-paced environment. The responsibilities include collaborating with the health care team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. Assessment will be based on physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual needs. Nurses are expected to seek lifelong learning through certification, advanced practice, and higher education. Demonstrating leadership and being a clinical resource is essential. Effective communication through collegial relationships and interdisciplinary collaboration is required. Strong time management skills and the ability to assist team members contribute to the overall performance of the unit.
