What are your contributions to the team?Establish work assignments for subordinatesConduct required meetings on schedule in accordance with scheduled guidelinesEnforce company rules and regulations and attendance policyEnforce, interpret, and correctly apply the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)Perform supervisory responsibilities, for example, hire/fire, disciplinary actions, counseling sessions, proper issuance of disciplinary actions including terminations, and professional developmentAnalyze work status in order to determine if production schedule and quality guidelines will be metCreate recovery plans/corrective actions when necessaryCoordinate cross functionally to support the success of the scheduleEnsure financial goals and objectives set by department are met and adhered toEnsure staffing is consistent with budgetary and production requirements.Ensure employees receive proper training on company equipment as required by Company and OSHA requirements.How to thrive in this role?You have a minimum of 3 years of Manufacturing experienceYou have a minimum of 2 years leadership / Supervisory or Lead experienceYou have Interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, all levels of management team, and other departmentsYou demonstrate strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop people and build a strong teamYou have strong Verbal and written communications skillsYou have training skills necessary to provide employee trainingYou have planning and organization skills necessary to plan, prioritize and coordinate workload of assigned employees within a multiple project settingYou have union experience preferredYou have control of budgetmanage time keeping system to ensure employees hours ae accurate and attendances trackedExperience with electronic work instructions Manufacturing aircraft assembly knowledge Basic OSHA KnowledgeLean Manufacturing experience (yellow belt, green belt certified) is a nice to have.Now that you can see yourself with the Bombardier Team!Opportunity Leader, Operations Primary Location Bombardier US AerostructuresOrganization Bombardier US Aerostr LLC Requisition 13912 Leader, Operations
