Production Associate – Reclaim Grinder Operator

Location: 170 South Avenue, Tallmadge, OH 44278
Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

Interview: No interview – Manager will review resumes and select candidates for an offer

Job Summary

The Production Associate – Reclaim Grinder Operator is responsible for safely operating reclaim grinding equipment and supporting end-of-line production operations. The ideal candidate should be safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Follow all plant rules, policies, and safety regulations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Maintain reliable attendance in accordance with the company attendance policy.
Perform general housekeeping duties throughout the plant.
Know the location and proper use of jam-up and emergency stop buttons.
Properly use the phone paging system when required.
Operate board grinders and safely prepare and feed scrap materials.
Operate compactor equipment and perform related tasks.
Use cleaning equipment and tools as needed while following all safety procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements & Physical Demands

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to routinely lift up to 55 lbs. without assistance.
Ability to work 12+ hour shifts when required.
Ability to work in hot and cold manufacturing environments.
Ability to continuously stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Must be willing and able to wear required PPE, including:
- Steel-toed safety shoes
- Safety glasses, goggles, and/or face protection
- Hearing protection
- Long-sleeved shirt with shirt tail tucked in, as required
