This collaborative environment fosters ongoing learning and professional development, helping you stay updated with the latest therapeutic practices.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist licensed physical therapists in evaluating patients' daily living skills and limitations to develop effective treatment plans.Implement therapeutic interventions including exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, and activities of daily living to support patient rehabilitation.Continuously observe and document patient progress during treatment sessions, providing detailed reports to the supervising physical therapist to ensure coordinated care.Engage with other healthcare team members to discuss patient information, exchange valuable insights, and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, considering their unique circumstances to foster understanding and support.Patient Population / Client FocusAt Bay Motion PT, our primary focus is on sports and orthopedic rehabilitation. We serve a wide range of patients, including high school athletes, university sports teams, and professional athletes recovering from injuries. Each treatment plan is tailored to optimize recovery and improve functional outcomes, ensuring that our clients can return to their activities and sports safely and effectively.QualificationsA bachelor's degree in a relevant field and an Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant licensure to practice in Florida.A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting, particularly in sports or orthopedic rehabilitation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues at all levels.Preferred ExperienceExperience working with athletes across various sports is highly desirable.Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and proficiency in documentation processes.Additional certifications in therapeutic techniques will be considered an asset.Compensation and BenefitsBay Motion PT offers a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
