Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital Department:RHC - Unity Position islocated: {Unity, Maine} Work Type:Full Time Work Schedule:7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Salary Range $22.43 to $34.22 Summary : Remote position responsible for proposing medications, managing incoming messages and phone calls, triaging patient needs, and supporting continuity of care team. Responsibilities : Answers patients' calls and determines how to assist them. Proposing medications to physician. Triaging patient needs, though messages and phone calls. Managing an assigned clinical desktop. Performs other duties as assigned or required. Maintains a safe environment complying with Northern Light Health policies and procedures; reports and directly addresses environmental hazards and violations of patient safety policy and/or protocol when involved or observed. Performs tasks of a clinical nature within scope of assigned duties and clinical expertise. Adheres to governmental and industry specific regulations/laws. Maintains current knowledge of organization’s policies and procedures. Records, maintains, distributes, and prepares documents or information. Manages / maintains electronic health records in accordance with confidentiality standards and policies. Works to meet patient's psychological, emotional, or physical needs. Works to ensure a safe environment for staff and patients. Work with members of the team or department in an effective and efficient manner. Shares knowledge and serves as a resource in a team environment. Other Information : Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Maine. BLS certification to be obtained prior to independently caring for patients and kept current. Graduate from an accredited LPN program or state-determined eligibility.
