If you're looking for a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities, this is the perfect position for you!ResponsibilitiesAssist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient carePrepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean and organized environmentEducate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment careSupport dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflowPerform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentistManage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accuratelyQualificationsPrevious dental assisting experience or relevant education is preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate.Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detailStrong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanorAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in dental software and technology is a plusRequirementsBefore applying, it is imperative that you meet the state requirements outlined below.Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).Georgia: CPR Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.Michigan: Upon hiring, you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification.
