Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Subscriber Growth & Monetization is a highly visible team of professionals that supports Disney+ and Hulu. Responsibilities: Manage and enhance the Disney+ and Hulu subscriber forecast process & key underlying assumptions, with a focus on subscriber acquisition. Lead and support strategic ad hoc analysis to highlight KPI trends, opportunities/risks to plan, size new product offerings, etc. Develop impactful, compelling presentation materials that communicate outlooks, drivers, business performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership. Act as a point of contact for operational support teams and ensure alignment on key assumptions and KPIs. Move seamlessly between different research projects and analysis raised by team leaders to inform decision-making. Education and Skills: 2‑4 years of strategy or finance experience with a top tier tech or media & entertainment firm, management consultancy, or investment bank/private equity firm. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or similar analytical field. Strong analytical capabilities and financial modeling skills (especially in Excel), including building models from scratch. Experience working with large data sets and analytical tools beyond Excel (e.g., R, Python, SQL) is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills (including PowerPoint) and ability to simplify complex matters for an executive audience. Ability to work well in teams within the group and with other business units. Ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects concurrently. Natural curiosity and passion for the media industry, streaming business, and content. Familiarity with working in or with global, large organizations is a plus. This Project Hire role has a target end date of 05/29/2027. Compensation: The hiring range for this position in California is $112,700.00 to $154,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will be based on internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
