Maxim Healthcare is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide high-quality, one-on-one care to pediatric and/or adult patients in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Deliver skilled nursing services in accordance with physician orders and care plans
• Initiate and update care plans in collaboration with physicians and care teams
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including physiological and psychosocial changes
• Respond to changes appropriately, reporting to physicians or supervisors as needed
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring and documenting effectiveness
• Collect, analyze, and interpret patient data to identify actual or potential nursing needs
• Document care, observations, and patient progress accurately and timely
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Identify needs related to patient education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts nursing license: Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current TB test, PPD, or chest X-ray (as required)
• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience preferred
