Work Environment

This role will be performed onsite at our state-of-the-art hospital in Moreno Valley, California. Our facility is designed to facilitate collaborative patient care, featuring private treatment rooms, a rehabilitation gym, and access to cutting-edge therapeutic equipment. Working hours are typically Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Physical Therapists to perform thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and integrate findings into treatment plans.
• Implement and modify therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education as prescribed by the supervising therapist.
• Utilize modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat treatment to assist in managing pain and improving patient function.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient interactions, treatment progress, and any notable changes in adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Monitor patients during treatment sessions, providing feedback and support to facilitate understanding and engagement in their recovery process.
• Actively participate in team meetings to discuss patient cases, share insights, and develop comprehensive care strategies.
• Contribute to the development of patient-centric home exercise programs, ensuring patients and their families understand the importance of continued care beyond the therapy sessions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development including workshops, seminars, and advanced certifications to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic PTA at Reinforce Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient population suffering from a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Our patients include individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and mobility impairments. You will have the opportunity to apply evidence-based practices to a wide range of rehabilitation scenarios, significantly impacting the lives of patients ranging from adolescents to the elderly.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current California Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a PTA, preferably in an orthopedic setting.
• Strong clinical assessment capabilities and treatment skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
