Highlights Pay: $64.85/hour Location: New York, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital Department/Unit: Emergency Room 785 - MSH Schedule: Full-Time, Night shift Responsibilities Deliver patient care using the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care. Assess and evaluate patient care needs applying critical thinking skills. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team on care plans. Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care and health promotion. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. Role model the tenets of Mount Sinai Relationship Centered Care. Initiate service recovery for patients and family members with concerns. Practice safe and efficient patient-centered care, identifying barriers to improvement. Perform charge nurse duties as assigned. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable if matriculated in a BSN program. Experience: Relevant clinical competence in nursing practice; new graduates must possess current knowledge of the nursing process. Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in New York State; BCLS certification required; NRP certification preferred; ACLS certification preferred; PALS certification preferred.
