Senior Manager, IT Finance
Scorpion Therapeutics
Role: Senior Manager - IT Finance, responsible for managing and evolving a portfolio of critical finance applications supporting Gilead's global operations. Objectives include ensuring system stability, scalability, compliance, and continuous improvement across core ERP and peripheral finance systems.
Responsibilities
End-to-end delivery, system lifecycle management, vendor coordination, stakeholder engagement, and driving integration between boundary applications and enterprise platforms like SAP S/4HANA. Focus areas include overseeing BlackLine for account reconciliations, tax systems like OneSource, and SAP-integrated tools, supporting key finance processes such as reconciliations, journal entries, and royalties.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years (or advanced degrees with proportionate experience) supporting enterprise finance systems, with deep expertise in finance processes, ERP environments, and application lifecycle management. Preferred skills include experience with BlackLine, SAP, SOX compliance, and life sciences/regulatory environments. The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, program management, and vendor oversight skills.
Located in Foster City, CA, with no remote work option.
