Tasks include tracking clinical quality outcomes, monitoring patient safety efforts, and benchmarking internal performance against external peers. This role analyzes qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources and synthesizes results into meaningful reports and presentations. Develops and maintains performance measurement processes, including database development, benchmarking, KPI development, systems documentation, and reporting/dashboard deployment. Interacts frequently with leadership and quality personnel to facilitate discussions of existing data products and assess unmet analytic needs and potential enhancements. Analyzes and interprets data to identify areas for improvement and provide meaningful data‑driven insights and recommendations to leadership. Develops key performance indicators through gathering requirements, defining specifications, and establishing goals or benchmarks. Manages complex datasets by identifying, aggregating, cleaning, and validating data from multiple sources in preparation for reporting use. Uses analytical techniques to design, develop, and maintain reports, scorecards, and dashboards that provide insight to the organization. Conducts financial and operational analyses and interprets results to support business stakeholders in making strategic decisions. Supports system‑wide quality improvement efforts through collaboration with multi‑disciplinary audiences, from executives to front line staff. Develops subject‑matter expertise around business and clinical operations and their relation to performance measurements. Conducts regular data mining and extraction from databases and tables, prepares effective presentations, and articulates findings and results to stakeholders. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Mastery of desktop applications, including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) – Required Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to a variety of audiences throughout the organization – Required Ability to effectively summarize data, present insights and facilitate discussion of results – Required Initiative to work independently and ability to collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams – Required Attention to detail that ensures follow‑through on all assigned projects – Required Experience with data mining/extraction tools – Required Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage efforts across multiple projects and re‑establish priorities as necessary to effectively respond to time‑sensitive issues and meet deadlines – Required Familiar with data visualization and statistical analysis tools (preferably Power BI, Qlik Products, Tableau, Minitab, R, Stata, or SAS) – Required Familiar with data management tools and techniques (preferably MS Access and SQL) – Required Knowledge of data extraction and analysis of current electronic medical records – Required Knowledge and application of statistical analyses including financial variance and statistical significance – Preferred Education Bachelor's – Required Master's – Preferred Field of Study Business, Healthcare, Engineering, Information Systems, or Mathematics discipline Work Experience 1+ year in a healthcare organization – Preferred 2+ years in a related analytic position – Preferred Physical Requirements Physical requirements are available upon request. Pay Range $60,151.66 – $111,886.39 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law) Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
