Seeking EMS candidates with Military /Aerospace experience A well-established electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company in San Jose is seeking a Quality & Compliance Manager to lead and elevate its Quality Management System in a highly regulated environment. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in AS9100-driven environments and wants to own quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives at a site level. What You Will Be Doing Own and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) , ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D Serve as the primary quality liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams Lead audit readiness , certifications, and recertifications Oversee incoming inspection, supplier quality, and corrective action programs (CAPA) Prepare and manage FAIR (AS9102) documentation Drive process improvements, yield analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives Establish and lead quality training programs across manufacturing teams Ensure compliance with IPC, UL, and other regulatory standards What We’re Looking For 7+ years in electronics manufacturing / EMS environments Strong working knowledge of AS9100D and ISO 9001 (required) Experience supporting aerospace and/or defense customers Proven background in audit management, QMS ownership, and compliance leadership Hands‑on experience with FAIR (AS9102), CAPA, and supplier quality Ability to interpret assembly drawings, BOMs, and specifications IPC certification (preferred) What Makes This Opportunity Stand Out High visibility role with ownership of site-wide quality and compliance Opportunity to work closely with aerospace and defense customers Flexible on‑site / hybrid structure for the right candidate Strong team environment with a focus on operational excellence Location San Jose, CA (Hybrid or Remote possible) We encourage candidates with AS9100 experience and a passion for quality leadership to connect.
