Position Overview

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure the comfort and safety of patients throughout procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations at every step
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred: Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Able to function independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
