This part-time role involves assisting with patient admissions, orienting patients to the unit and care routines, and responding promptly to patient needs either directly or by alerting the appropriate personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of nursing care plans by performing delegated patient care tasks.
• Maintain patient safety through proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Manage and stock patient care supplies, ensuring a clean and well-organized environment.
• Participate actively in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.
• Engage in educational and performance improvement activities to enhance care quality.
• Demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction, patient flow, and operational efficiency.
• Perform additional clinical skills approved by the state nursing board following continuing education and competency validation.

Education and Formal Training:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of the first semester in an accredited nursing program.
• Current registration as a Nursing Assistant II with the state Board of Nursing.
• Verification of recommendation from nursing school.

Experience:
