About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Marketing and Communications Officer (CMCO) to serve as a strategic and creative leader, responsible for stewarding a powerful and cohesive brand identity. The CMCO will be a key member of the President's cabinet, advancing a unified marketing and communications strategy that aligns with the institution's mission and elevates its reputation. This role involves leading the Office of Marketing and Communications, overseeing strategic planning, and ensuring that all marketing and communications efforts are in harmony with the company's goals. The successful candidate will be tasked with modernizing the marketing and communications enterprise, including the use of digital platforms, data analytics, and AI-driven tools, to enhance engagement and outreach. Applicants for the CMCO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' professional experience in brand marketing and communications, with a background in education, not-for-profit, government, or private sectors. A bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years' of supervisory experience are required. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in enhancing the reputation of global brands, a deep understanding of the societal impact of education, and the ability to promote the company's mission and identity. The CMCO will be expected to have exceptional relationship-building skills, a collaborative leadership style, and the ability to proactively manage media and crisis communications. The position is pivotal in ensuring consistent and cohesive messaging across the institution and will involve close collaboration with the President's cabinet and marketing and communications professionals throughout the company.
