Head of Product Management for Quantum Modalities, Quantum Technology SolutionsQuantum Technology Solution (QTS) is the new business recently launched at GlobalFoundries to enable the Quantum industry to transition from lab-scale to Utility Scale Quantum ComputingThe Head of Product Management for Quantum Compute Platforms is responsible for defining and commercializing GlobalFoundries' portfolio of modality-specific quantum computing platforms. This leader will own the business, develop the product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market plans for photonic, ion trap, neutral atom, and other emerging quantum computing modalities.Working closely with strategic customers, ecosystem partners, and QTS process development team, the role translates customer requirements into scalable semiconductor manufacturing platforms and technology roadmaps. The successful candidate will help establish GF as the leading foundry partner for utility-scale quantum computing by developing differentiated process technologies, integration flows, and product offerings that accelerate the transition from research prototypes to manufacturable quantum systems. This role is ideal for an experienced business executive with a strong background in product management of new technology platforms incl. photonics, quantum modalities and advanced packaging platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the business growth and profitability, product strategy and roadmap for GF's quantum compute platform portfolio, with primary focus on photonic, ion trap, and neutral atom quantum computing platforms.Develop modality-specific product offerings including process technologies, integration flows, design enablement, and manufacturing solutions required to scale quantum processors.Engage with quantum computing customers to understand architecture roadmaps, technical requirements, and commercialization needs.Translate customer requirements into market requirements, platform specifications, and technology development priorities for QTS development team.Drive go-to-market strategy, business cases, ecosystem partnerships, and strategic customer engagements to accelerate adoption of GF quantum platforms.Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging quantum modalities to guide portfolio investment decisions.Required Qualifications:Advanced degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Materials Science, Quantum Engineering, or a related technical discipline.15+ years of experience in product management, strategic marketing, business leadership, or technology commercialization within semiconductors, photonics, advanced packaging, or quantum technologies.P&L ownership, and demonstrated success launching and scaling complex technology platforms from concept through commercialization.Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, photonics, process technology development, and technology roadmapping.Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams across business, engineering, and R&D organizations.Strong customer-facing and executive communication skillsTravel – 25+% of timePreferred Qualifications:Direct experience with photonic quantum computing, ion trap quantum computing, neutral atom quantum computing, or other advanced quantum computing modalities.Experience with silicon photonics, integrated optics, lasers, optical interconnects, or quantum photonic devices.Familiarity with quantum hardware architectures, scaling challenges, and manufacturability requirements.Experience working with quantum computing startups, hyperscalers, research institutions, or government-funded quantum programs.Existing network within the global quantum ecosystem and experience establishing strategic technology partnerships.MBA or equivalent business leadership experience.Expected Salary Range$236,000.00 - $410,000.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.If you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please contact us by email at View email address on us.fitly.work and let us know the nature of your request and your contact information.
