Logistics SupervisorLabcorp is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to join our team in Tucker, GA.Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm; coverage on other shifts and weekends as neededJob Responsibilities:Supervise the day-to-day operations of the logistics teamManage the performance of all couriers using established performance metricsImplement and review courier routes and schedules to increase efficienciesEnsure department is properly staffed with the ability to cover all necessary routesEstablish relationships with outside logistics vendors to obtain coverage when neededGenerate and review daily/weekly reports and escalate any issues to leadershipEnsure entire logistics staff is properly trained and any performance issues are addressedMeet regularly with direct reports to provide coaching and feedback for their developmentAddress and resolve both internal and external client issuesMaintain and monitor department spend to ensure proper budget allocationManage and maintain branch vehicles according to Corporate Fleet standardsEngage in continuous process and service level improvementsResponsible for administering and managing policies and proceduresPerform administrative and clerical duties as neededMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED or equivalent3 years or more experience as a driver or courier5 years or more as a people leaderPreferred Qualifications :Associates degree5 years or more experience as a medical courier7 years or more of people leader experienceAdditional Job Standards:Ability to motivate and develop team membersStrong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft OfficeBasic understanding of managing costs and an overall budgetStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to effectively communicate with various levels within an organizationExcellent critical thinking and problem resolution skillsAbility to handle the physical demands of the positionComfortable with handling lab specimens when neededValid Driver's License and clean driving recordBe at least 21 years' oldDo you have a background in Logistics and are seeking a leadership opportunity?
