Start Date: As soon as credentialing is complete
Shift: Days
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (schedule coordinated with the CEO and/or Area Director of Quality)
Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $60–$65/hr
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,400–$2,600/week
Job SummaryFort Peck Service Unit is seeking an experienced Infection Control Registered Nurse to oversee infection prevention and control activities throughout the facility. The RN will develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention programs, conduct surveillance activities, educate staff, and ensure compliance with CDC, OSHA, Joint Commission, and Indian Health Service infection prevention standards.
RequirementsMinimum 3 years of Registered Nurse experience
Previous Infection Control experience required
Strong knowledge of infection prevention principles and regulatory standards
Excellent communication and education skills
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Candidates must have prior Indian Health Service (IHS) Purchased/Referred Care (PRC) experience.
Required CredentialsActive, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state or territory
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Minimum 3 years of RN experience
Infection Control experience required
Previous IHS PRC experience (Required)
Case Management experience
BLS Certification (preferred if required by facility)
Indian Health Service (IHS)
Fort Peck Service Unit
Monday–Friday schedule
No federal holiday work
