Base Compensation: $600,000 annually with up to $150,000+ in additional earnings through extra shifts and incentives.

MedStar Health, the largest healthcare system in the Washington, D.C. and Maryland region, is seeking a Board-certified/Board-eligible Radiologist for our Diagnostic Body Imaging division. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely while maintaining a strong work-life balance. Openings are available at MedStar Health hospitals in Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Southern Maryland.

Compensation

• Total compensation with annual earning range - $500,000 to $750,000+
• Generous sign on bonus available

Position Summary

• Diagnostic Body Imaging focus
• Approximately 60 cases per day
• 910 RVUs/hour with incentives for higher productivity
• Procedures required, including fluoroscopy and minor image-guided biopsies (e.g., thyroid)
• Interpretation of CT, Ultrasound, X-ray, and MRI studies

Hybrid Work Schedule

• MondayFriday, 8 a.m.5 p.m.
• 23 days per week on-site; remaining days remote
• Remote weekend shifts Q6 + 1 holiday per year
• Optional evening shift (5 p.m.10 p.m.) once per week with morning and afternoon off

Qualifications

• Board-certified or Board-eligible by the American Board of Radiology
• Open to experienced radiologists and new graduates (fellowship training preferred)
• Eligible for medical licensure in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia
• Strong clinical skills, a passion for patient care, and excellent communication skills
