Customer Service Associate

Location: Dayton, MN (On-site)

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Position Type: Contract-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:15 AM-5:00 PM

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Customer Service Associate to join a growing team in the Dayton, MN area. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and helping customers resolve questions related to products, orders, and shipping.

Responsibilities

• Answer 50-80 inbound customer calls per day regarding product information, order status, shipping inquiries, and general support needs.
• Respond to customer inquiries through email and internal communication portals.
• Accurately document customer interactions within the company's CRM system.
• Process customer inquiries, returns, and related documentation.
• Research and resolve customer concerns related to returns, deductions, restocking fees, repackaging fees, held invoices, and policy questions.
• Provide guidance regarding return policies and procedures.
• Partner with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate customer support.

QualificationsRequired:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role such as:
  • Customer Service Representative
  • Call Center Representative
  • Dispatcher
  • Order Entry Specialist
  • Service Coordinator
  • Operations Coordinator
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of calls and customer interactions.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• ERP system experience.
• Bilingual Spanish skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
