Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including senior care, acute care and in a hospital setting. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist in medical imaging procedures and specimen collection processing.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
• Participate in case management activities to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans.
• Provide support in teaching hospitals, collaborating with nursing staff and medical students.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Support patients in hospice care by providing compassionate end-of-life care and comfort measures.

Experience

• Previous experience in patient care settings is preferred, particularly in urgent care, critical care, or hospice environments.
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures and medical imaging technologies is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively teach patients about their health conditions and treatment plans.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor in critical situations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
