Senior Mechanical Engineer
Viken Detection
Viken Detection is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and develop advanced X-ray imaging and detection systems for security, transportation, and industrial applications. In this hands-on role, you will lead mechanical design of complex electro-mechanical assemblies, from concept through production, including 3D modeling, tolerance analysis, thermal and structural considerations, and DFM/DFA. You will collaborate closely with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams, support prototyping and testing, resolve field issues, and drive continuous improvement to enhance reliability, safety, and performance in mission-critical environments.
