PRN CT Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT imaging to provide safe, accurate, and age-appropriate diagnostic services. Key Responsibilities Include Performing a variety of technical procedures independently, including patient positioning, equipment setup, and imaging acquisition. Verifying clinician orders, obtaining clinical histories, and assessing patient conditions to ensure optimal care. Administering contrast medias safely, following established protocols to prevent adverse reactions. Ensuring proper patient identification, privacy, and comfort throughout procedures. Responding to emergencies, maintaining equipment, and troubleshooting technical issues. Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff, providing pre- and post-procedural instructions. Maintaining quality control standards, producing acceptable images, and submitting studies promptly. Supporting department operations, restocking supplies, and assisting with clerical duties as needed. Qualifications Required Include Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion. ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS certifications. Minimum of 1 year radiology experience; CT experience preferred. Key Skills Encompass Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork abilities. Independent functioning under pressure, attention to detail, and multitasking skills. Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, and quality control procedures.
