Details Work in the Interventional Radiology unit Day shift schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM (4x10 hours) 1:1 patient ratio On-call required for 1 weekend (Fri-Sun) and 3-4 weekdays per month Meditech charting system used Requirements Active AZ or compact RN license Current certifications: BLS and ACLS Minimum 2 years of experience as an IR RN Prior travel assignment experience required Meditech charting experience preferred Proficiency in procedural sedation monitoring, vascular closure systems, and radiation/laser safety Experience with vascular, pulmonary, genitourinary, and neurological interventional procedures Additional Information Provide nursing care for interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, chemoembolization, liver biopsy, thoracentesis, and nephrostomy among others Administer and monitor procedural sedation, thrombolytics, and other specialized medications Assist with central line insertion, PICC line care, and vascular access procedures RTO restricted from Dec 15th to Jan 3rd, with minimal time off requested at time of consideration Holiday coverage required, including on-call shifts for Dec 24/25 and Dec 31/Jan 1 Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate Travel pairs accepted First-time travelers will not be considered for this role Former permanent employees must wait 12 months before being eligible to return as travelers American Traveler Job ID P-771217.
