Responsibilities Registered Nurses are responsible for providing nursing care to patients in collaboration with families in accordance with the American Nurses Association Standards of professional Nursing Practice. The Registered Nurse is expected to provide primary nursing care for patients, and to assume responsibility for other nursing care processes by assessment, plan of care, intervention and evaluation. Must have and maintain current licensure in the State of Rhode Island.
