We are currently seeking Medical Assistants (MA) to support our Nashville-area clinics , including our Franklin/Cool Springs location , with the flexibility to work at other Nashville offices as needed. Candidates must have excellent time management and organizational skills, be motivated and dependable team players, and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.

This position consists of four 10-hour shifts per week (Monday–Friday).

Summary of Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination, review medical history, and obtain a detailed HPI

• Explain procedures and obtain patient consent

• Scribe for providers during patient visits and complete lab/requisition forms accurately

• Set up for and assist providers with procedures including biopsies and excisions

• Administer lidocaine and IM injections

• Perform wound care and provide post-procedure instructions

• Communicate biopsy and lab results to patients and coordinate follow-up treatment as directed

• Clean, package, and sterilize instruments

• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards

• Follow OSHA safety protocols

• Perform other clinical duties as assigned

Requirements

• Current Medical Assistant certification preferred , though relevant clinical experience may be considered in lieu of certification

• Dermatology experience preferred but not required

• Willingness to work at multiple Nashville-area offices , including Franklin/Cool Springs, depending on clinic needs

Job Type: Full-time

Expected Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
